Victoria Kalogerou

Your English trainer

Victoria Kalogerou has a 20-year long experience in teaching adults. She completed her PhD studies at the University of London and holds an MA degree in Descriptive and Applied Linguistics from the University of Essex and a BA degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Cyprus. She has served as an external expert for companies in the private sector and for governmentally funded projects, such as DIAS.

Apart from her teaching experience, she has published her work in academic journals, in books and has presented in conferences worldwide. Her research work has been supported by numerous local and European research grants and has she collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines including Business Administration, Computer Science and Engineering. She managed several local and EU funded projects aiming to improve teaching and learning practices in Higher Education and the industry. She has developed and taught courses under in the academic track and advanced business courses under the umbrella of professional studies. She is a certified trainer by HRDA, Cyprus and an expert in online teaching.

I took lessons from Victoria in my first year of college. I can say that it was one of the best English lessons I have experienced in my life. I was very pleased with her mastery of the class, her interest in everyone and the way she lectured.
